
ur Rotarian of the Day today is J. David Hughes, a.k.a. “Also.” David was born March 4, 1982 in Tulsa and has lived in Tulsa all of his life, except for the four years he lived in Norman while attending the University of Oklahoma. David graduated from the OU Price College of Business with a B.B.A. in finance.
David married Jennifer Siegfried on June 17, 2006, despite the fact that she graduated from OSU. David and Jennifer have two children: their Labrador retrievers.
If you haven’t already figured it out, David is a HUGE Sooner Fan!!!!! He enjoys OU football, football in general, hunting, and fishing.
David began his professional career as a financial planner with OND Financial Solutions. His classification is Wealth Management.
David’s grandfather Dave Hughes was a member of the Rotary Club of Southside Tulsa. His grandmother Dorothy was a Rotary Anne, and his dad, David, who proposed him, is an active member and past president of our club.

This Week’s Program
Greg Douglass
ur speaker today is Greg Douglass. He is president and CEO of Citadel Intelligence, a protective services, security consulting, and security systems company based in Tulsa. Citadel Intelligence provides services to clients throughout the United States.
Greg is a nationally recognized corporate security expert. He has been the keynote speaker at numerous corporate security and banking association conferences on many issues including robbery prevention, safety training for employees, physical security, and vulnerability assessments throughout the nation. Additionally, he has appeared on various news and talk shows addressing crime and security issues.
Greg joined the Tulsa Police Department in 1993 as a reserve officer and became a full-time officer in 1995. Through his career, Greg has served the TPD in various positions: as a member of the special operations team, a sex crimes detective, and he is currently a lead defensive tactics instructor and use of force instructor for the department. Greg also serves as an adjunct instructor for the United States Shooting Academy, the premier law enforcement and military training facility in the world.
In 1993, Greg began development of a training course called E.A.G.L.E. (Effective Application of Groundfighting for Law Enforcement), to train Tulsa police officers. This program was the first of its kind in the nation, and now, various forms of the E.A.G.L.E. training are mandatory for police departments all over the country.
Due to Greg’s extensive athletic background, he developed an interest in martial arts in 1989. He quickly advanced in karate, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, judo, and kickboxing, and became a professional fighter. He trained extensively with the world’s greatest and most respected fighters, including Carlos Muchado, Rorion, Relson and Royce Gracie. Greg even developed his own style of martial arts, called American Combat Jiu-Jitsu.
He remained undefeated throughout his career and won the North American Kickboxing Champion title in 1991 and the Light Heavyweight Combat Jiu-Jitsu World Champion title in 1992. Greg’s final bout was in Japan in 1997, and he retired undefeated and holding the title of World Champion.
Officer Greg Douglass has been recognized by citizens of the City of Tulsa, fellow officers, and superior officers for his dedication, professionalism, and excellent service to the community. He has received numerous commendations and awards throughout his law enforcement career.
Greg attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater on athletic scholarships and graduated with a B.S. in business administration, and minors in finance and marketing. Greg is married to Alisha and they have three children: Eric, a midshipman at the United States Naval Academy, Kristina, and Bo.
