Our Rotarian of the Day today is one of our newest members, Patti Kuck. Patti graduated from OSU with a BS in accounting, and worked in the oil and gas industry for 15 years. She transferred to the staffing industry, where she works to provide client companies with engineering, accounting, and IT professionals.
Patti has two children: a son, Taylor, 22 and a daughter, Hayden, also 22. No, they are not twins. They were born 10 months apart!
Patti’s passion is animal rescue, where she spends her energy doing fundraising and fostering. She is also part of a national transportation network. Currently, she has two lovely animals up for adoption, a Bull Terrier and an Anatolian Shepherd mix.

Southsider Quick Notes
Last week…
- Last week, Steve Gray was our ROD and Congresswoman Mary Fallin was our speaker.
- The Change of Horses is June 30, and it’s $20/person. Be sure to sign up!
- On June 24, our program will be the Southside Foundation, and we will have a general meeting of membership to accomplish several purposes: (1) provide the members an update of the investment and financial profile of the foundation, (2) vote on proposed bylaw changes, and (3) elect a new trustee (the nominee is Don den Daas). The proposed bylaw changes can be found by clicking here.
- We have a potential new member, proposed by Tom Wilson:
Gwen Goff – Retired Active
- Lamp is out of the hospital and is homebound now. His wife, Eloise, needs someone to come by and sit with him while she runs errands. If you can stop by for an hour or so and help out, you can get her number from Keith.
- Don’t forget your RI checks! Turn them in to Brian Huddleston as soon as you can. If you turn them in much later than next week, they won’t be counted until the next fiscal year.
- If you want to pick up some Topeca coffee for the fundraiser, see Josh Butts. We’re supposed to buy or sell 20 bags apiece.
- Biscuit Acres has a website now, thanks to Jonathan Cox! He also built one for Joe Station.
- Don’t forget to check out the Bellmon Awards website: www.bellmonawards.org
- Next week, our speaker will be Commissioner Fred Perry.
