
Our Rotarian of the Day today is Robert Reins. Robert was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on November 21, 1947. He attended and graduated from Central High School in 1966. He received a B.B.A. degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1970 and then both a masters in business administration and a law degree from the University of Tulsa.
Robert is the executive vice president for BancFirst Tulsa. His wife, Linda, works for the University of Tulsa, and they have three children: Jennifer, who lives in Tulsa; Jamye, who lives in Bartlesville; and Colleen, who is a senior at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee. They also have one granddaughter, Gracie Wells.
Robert was inducted into Southside on March 6, 1997, and was proposed by David Hughes. He served our club as president during the 2004-2005 Rotary year.
His interests are golf, photography and backpacking.

The Southside Foundation
Our program today is the Southside Foundation. We have some proposed bylaw changes that we need to vote on (click here to see them), so we need everybody to show up!

Last week…
- Last week, Medhi Khezri was our ROD and Commissioner Fred Perry was our speaker.
- We presented awards to the two Eagle Scouts, from troop 945, who did projects for Biscuit Acres. Mitchell Moore did the shade sails and helped to winterize the deposit boxes out there. Grant Williams built the box frames for the buckets. We gave $200 to the scout troop.
- Our new district governor, Wallace Williams, will be inducted June 25 at the Marriott Southern Hills. It starts at 6:30 p.m. and is $25 per person.
- The Change of Horses is June 30 at Stokely’s, and it’s $20/person. Be sure to sign up! We’ll have a map and an address on the main page.
- There will be a Foundation meeting after the club meeting this week.
