This Week’s Program

Tim Colwell and Bob Lengacher

O

ur speakers are Bob Lengacher and Tim Colwell. In 2015, The Rotary Club of Tulsa will celebrate its 100th anniversary, and to commemorate the event, the club has embarked on its largest project ever: a $700,000 Rotary Plaza featuring a series of bronze sculptures that will call attention to the contributions of Rotary around the world and here in Tulsa.

Bob chairs the club’s centennial project. The founder of Tulsa Litho, Bob is past president of the Rotary Club of Tulsa and is the founder of the Henry P. Iba Citizen Athlete Awards. A community leader, he spearheaded the Bernsen Center capital campaign at First Presbyterian Church. Additionally, Bob–along with his late wife, Dorothy–was the visionary and founder of Inverness Village.

Tim is the immediate past president of the Rotary Club of Tulsa and under his leadership, the club broke the 500-member mark for the first time. Tim heads business unit communications for Williams and he also has a side business, The Queen of Cards, a company that creates black-and-white vintage photo greeting cards with captions that fall under the category of “twisted humor.”

Their topic will be “A Project to Benefit All Tulsa Rotary.”

Bob and Tim, thank you for being with us today. The Rotary Club of Southside Tulsa welcomes you.
